RF Code Readers

RF Code Readers are responsible for reading the radio beacons of RF Code Sensor and Asset tags and then forwarding those beacons to CenterScape/Zone Manager. The readers do not emit RF signals and only listen for tag beacons. They are capable of hosting multiple sessions, meaning that Multiple instances of CenterScape/Zone Manager can communicate with a reader at the same time. When this happens each session is independent of one another and receive only the type of tags that are requested. A reader that is simply plugged in will not actively read tags until a session is established and the reader is given instructions as to which types of tags are to be read. These sessions are handled by the CenterScape/Zone Manager software as part of that software's configuration.
